After a short trip
down A. V. "Punch" Dowling
Drive, you turn on to Robert W. "Boss" Woodruff Way, and as you
cross a pond dam, your home for you visit to Partridge Pea Plantation
comes into view. Continue across the dam, turn onto Coach Wright Bazemore
Blvd. (the roads on Partridge Pea are named after 3 of the men that had a
great influence on Dr. Dowling's life) and up a small grassy rise,
situated among tall South Georgia Pines and overlooking a beautiful
farm pond, is the Cabin of Partridge Pea.
At the end of the day, you can
sit on the screened front porch taking in the peaceful surroundings and
debate which of you made the greatest shots of the day! As night falls,
you go inside to a hearty meal and then retire to our 4 bedroom cabin and
drift off to sleep to sounds of Bobwhite Quail whistling in the pines.
Tastefully decorated and comfortable, our cabin can accommodate
parties of up to 8.
